SYNOPSIS

 

Yonathan, a luxury watch expert with a monotonous daily life, sees his life turned upside down when he teams up with Eric, a fence and crook. Fascinated by Eric's lifestyle, Yonathan loses all sense of proportion.

 

Everything accelerates when, in order to fulfill an order from Eric, Jo, a genius burglar, steals five masterpieces from the Museum of Modern Art in Paris in 2010. From then on, the three men are drawn into an uncontrollable spiral.

 

Inspired by a true story, The Rules of Art reminds us that the heist of the century cannot be a matter for amateurs...
